No doubt the fist pumping is hot and heavy at the news the U.S. was pulling out intermediate range missile treaty, that a U.S. Naval task force is as far North in the Arctic ocean as they've been in years, and that the U.S. is the backbone of the largest NATO exercises in decades right on Russia's doorstep.
In other news that should really send you guys from 6 to midnight is that a bi-partisan commission is saying that the $717 billion the U.S. military is spending this year isn't enough to defeat the Russians and Chinese in a two front war and that the U.S. military must position itself to take on both the Chinese and the Russians. This when the White House is seeking a 4.5% reduction in military spending for next FFY. Military budget crisis avoided, baby!!
