In ProgLib world, it's perfectly fine to turn the state against political enemies.
That's why they hang Mao Christmas ornaments, and love extolling the virtues of people like the Castro's.
Back in the day, ProgLib's clamored for wonderful relations with the Soviet Union, and constantly railed against the U.S. government (unless it was a ProgLib favored agency), the military, the FBI and intelligence agencies. Now they believe every word those entities say . . . as long as it's against ProgLib enemies.
