Just more Obama and Hillary references in the Trump/Russia thread.
When the previous administration was handing the Russians intelligence protecting an already dreadful war that we're still talking about now. It's extremely relevant.
It was less than a year ago the Russians bombed our assets in Syria based on intelligence Obama gave them.
What does that have to do with the actual relationship between Trump and Russia?
Is it bad to have a relationship with Russia? Let's take Syria, thanks to the horrific missteps by the previous administration the path to peace, at least in the areas the government still controls, flows through Moscow.
There's now pretty much no way, short of an invasion that ISIS will be taken out without Russian help. Not to mention Iran where Russia still holds sway. We'll likely need the Russians to convince them to stop what they're doing with missile technology and sadly and eventually deliverable nukes. We're also headed to conflict in the Arctic where Russia is way ahead of us. So why not try and get things worked out.
But alas the New McCarthyites don't want that, but they cheerleaded the leading from behind and were complicit in the Syrian missteps.
A pickle.
