"We are now of the belief that this model can greatly benefit the Putin Government if employed at the correct levels with the appropriate commitment to success," Manafort wrote in the 2005 memo to Deripaska. The effort, Manafort wrote, "will be offering a great service that can re-focus, both internally and externally, the policies of the Putin government."

So sad that Dax wants America to become Russia but with more Christian evangelicals. He really does hate this country

If only the intolerant left didn't support and defend every idiotic move (of which there were hundreds) of the previous administration, we likely could have avoided a substantial amount of the messes we have to deal with now.

In this case, it was the Obama administration's unbridled support of the massively corrupt Ukranian government and even going so far as seeing the VP's son on the board of directors of what is no doubt a typically highly corrupt Ukranian energy company.

Sad

I guess I just don't get why the left wants war and conflict with Russia so badly, but we are in the midst of Red Scare 2.0 extreme paranoia by the left . . . even more sad.

To clarify, dax is blaming Obama for what Trump's admin got themselves involved in with the commies. Who knew BO had that type of power.

It's good to see that deep thinkers like Phil run so easily with unsubstantiated allegations.

Particularly knowing that the allegations emanate from inside one of the most corrupt governments on the planet that the previous administration fully supported and had sons deeply involved with their corrupt companies.

SMDH.  Sad

Phil, didn't hear much concern on your part when it was revealed that high level Dem operatives with expansive direct ties to the DNC were lobbying for Russian banks and energy companies.

But, they're Dems, so that makes it  okay.

Well Phil, I've already sad that if this actually occurred then the guy needs to be charged with crimes.

But the sudden great concern by the left about corruption and the Russians and related is humorous.  Given that it was ignored by the left for 8 years.

Dem operatives on all levels including the last Dem Pres candidate were and are eyelid deep in Russian/Eastern European crap.   But they're Dems, so it's okay.

The former head of the DNC as well as Podesta's brother lobbied for Russian banks and energy companies.   Hillary and Bill put together the Russian uranium deal and pocketed millions.

Of course you already know Hunter Biden's role in the Ukraine.

So direct support of a corrupt regime is great, along with the family of the sitting VP on the board of corrupt Ukrainian companies . . . Is okay?

Thanks for clearing that up fellas!

Tell me, what role does this very short term campaign manager play in the current administration?

KK, you're really not bringing much these days.  Sad

Gotta admit, I reading the "there" about Manafort and it's eerily reminiscent of about a hundred stories tied to the Clinton's and the Clinton Foundation that were summarily and repeatedly dismissed out-of-hand by the resident Dem apologists and beyond.

Looks just like business as usual in that world.   If Manafort gets nailed, then hundreds of others need to get nailed as well, including the latest Dem presidential candidate and her husband.

Yeah, if Trump et al. are ousted from office, I definitely hope that the Clintons will be ousted from office, too.

Somehow, 24 pages are on Obama and Hillary. These things take time, though.
