honest to god didn't realize washing potatoes was a thing
At family gatherings, we used to always eat the skins of the baked potatoes that my grandpa baked on the grill. Then one time we heard him say, "No I don't wash the potatoes, you throw the skin away anyway."

Wash with a brush. Towel dry. Cover with light coating of oil. Sprinkle with sea salt. Bake.Tom
