Here is this week's standings
With the early week games finished we have the weekend slate coming up. Should be an easy one for the cats. The rest of the Big 12 however is another story

OSU at 0-2'is surprising.  I would like to be at 3-1 through the first 4, and at least 4-2 at end of first quarter of the conference schedule.  Baylor.doesn't seem so scary now.

i wonder how much better our conference would be after a few years of a 24 conference game schedule

i don't know as though there's a direct correlation b/w conference games and injuries
i do know that the better your competition, the better you become.  i think we should do it, the b12 would be breeding some players

I say we play a pre conference season tournament in KC for a week over Christmas, kind of like the old Big 8.

However, it won't be like the end of season conference tournament which we have to keep. The first 2 days the teams are split into 2 five team pods and they all play each other. That's 4 games. Then you have 2 four team brackets for cross pool play according to how you finish in your pool over the last 2 days. The 2 worst teams left out of the brackets play a 2 game series. All these games count for your record before conference play starts. You award 3 trophies, 1 for the top bracket, 1 for the next bracket, and 1 for the worst loser.

Bam, 6 more games to get 24 for everyone.

How does the B12 stack up to other leagues?  No idea because they didn't play but we know how they stack up against each other.  Good luck tournament committee.

how many games do most teams play each season that give them any real answer to that question?

So you don't see your logic flaw. I won't bother explaining, it won't do any good.

Forget that, the ACC is better because they have 15 schools.

I was referring to if we played a 24 game schedule so we had no OOC.  Thanks though!
