Everyone seems to think they are right no matter what.  It makes having a dialogue about anything harder.  Especially older people thinking everything was way better in the world when they were younger.

Pretty much any old person that tells you things were better when they were younger is either racist, homophobic, scared of technology or uneducated and angry that they are no longer automatically entitled to a good job.

I'm semi old and this is the best it has ever been.

I just bought a great memory foam mattress of off amazon for 50% off store value. It was delivered to my door for free. My back problems are gone! None of this was possible when I was born. Wow!

To suggest that my angst over my level of taxation is premised on the state of my finances is dumb. Again tho, I sympathize with liberals believing this - it's how their brains work. I could be a multi-millionaire and I'd still be pissed about forking over 40% of my income to the government. To which liberals would respond "stop complaining, you can afford it, and just adjust your lifestyle if you can't." To which I would respond "eff off, and get your grubby fingers out of my wallet." Guys, I like stuff too.  No doubt there is a balance and it is what it is.  That said, we got like 1/8" ice covered by like 2"snow and it took LV county like 2 days to even touch the streets around my area.  Where's my give and take?  Days where you can't hardly get in or out of your neighborhood are the days this stuff hits me hardest.

Until about 4 years ago, I never owned a nice mattress.  I can say that the only drawback to having a nice mattress is it makes sleeping in hotels harder to do.
