And another #5 from Parrish.

And I have no idea how to react to expectations this high.  NO IDEA.

 :runaway:

Just think 1998 in football and enjoy the heck out of it, but this time expect the inevitable kick in the nuts.

I want Gottlieb and Bilas to put out their preseason rankings. Evidently those are the only two opinions that matter according to the Phog and it'd be interesting to see how they react if the place K-State in their top 5 or so.

Guess Selby is Ben's flavor of the month now.  Remember how much he hyped up Tyshawn last summer?  And Robinson, X, and Elijah, etc,...  Ben is like the Madden curse for uk athletes.

KU swept K-State last season and won the Big 12 by four games.  Maybe next time?

Josh Selby is going to make Jake Pullen look like a hobo.

It's like roles between KU and KSU fans are completely reversed.

did you see this one?

Good job, guys... now let's see if you're ranked top five next year after losing Pullen, Sutton, and Kelly.

increds. love not being little bro anymore.

You are consistently the worst poster on here. congrats.

uk couldn't make it out of the 2nd round with 2 AAs, a lottery pick, a couple 'o mongoloids, a drunk, a weasel, an Arizona cast-off, and a bunch of McD AAs.  Maybe next time?

I guess I'm having a hard time understanding how replacing Denis Clemente with a player like Martavious Irving is going to make K-State a better team.  But hey, maybe that Canadian juco will be really good and you guys will manage to not get swept by KU again.  I have my doubts, though.

I'm having a hard time understanding how replacing 2 All-Americans and a first-rounder will make KU a top 5 team. See, we're all a little confused.

Probably because it's doubtful that Irving starts at the point, and that we get better or stay the same all all other positions.  Including our bench.

Oh, okay... so K-State's players are the only ones who improve during the off-season, and K-State is the only team in the Big 12 with guys capable of stepping up next year and taking on a bigger role.   Got it.

Will Whitey play more than 1 minute vs KSU next yr when he replaces CA at the 5?  I bet Seff was keeping him on the bench to keep his talents hidden until next yr.  He was as impactful a transfer as CK was, just not as obvious to outsiders.

You'd think with how much you're on here you'd know something.

Team A makes it to the Elite 8, and the next year they get worse at 1 position and better than or equal to at the other 4.

Team B makes it to the round of 32, and the next year gets worse at 3 positions and better than or equal to at the other 2.

Which team is more likely to be better?  (and yes, that is rhetorical)

Team B went 33-3 and swept Team A last season.  Team B has won six straight Big 12 titles.  Team B lost seven players, including five starters, off of a national championship team and proceeded to go 14-2 in the Big 12 and reach the Sweet Sixteen the next season.

Ben, I just don't think all that Team B stuff will fit on a banner.  The font size would have to be tiny, making it practically unreadable.

Don't want to let the Khatz out of the bag here, but K-State will be playing 7 teams in this top 25 (possibly 8), with KU/MU twice. Going to be a fun schedule when released.  :kstatriot:
