Why is medium well not an option for burger doneness? Medium rare and below is disgusting for ground beef.

I order medium well for burgers all the time, it should be doable if the cook isn't a complete dumbass.

Medium rare steak eater here. Maybe rare depending on the cut/thickness. Blue is disgusting tho.

Yeah, a lot of restaurants won't even cook a burger below medium if you order it. Rare ground beef isn't very safe to eat. It was weird to me that the article posted data for burgers after pointing out how Trump eats his steak.

I don't get this. I'd rather eat a steak raw than this. What causes one to love a well done steak? It's meat. It was once a live animal. It's needs to bloody for me to enjoy it. Team rare all the way

That isn't really true. Ground beef needs to be cooked to 160. It really shouldn't be cooked longer than that, but that puts it pretty firmly into the medium+ category.
