I suppose when your party is controlled by lifetime politicians, you're used to seeing people perpetually living off the dole, while they position legislation to put money in their pocket, and do things like put the executive branch on watch for insider trading and 2 year cooling off periods after leaving a government position . . . but exempt the congressional branch from the same.
