He could also get it changed by winning a war. To the victor go the spoils.

Also almost certain electors can vote for whoever they want, but presidential candidates get to choose their own electors so there is almost a 0% chance that happens.

You got your guy, you can stop being coy dax

He's only "my guy" if he does good things. For me step one:  A coalition to defeat ISIS on the battlefield while simultaneously moving rapidly to end the "civil" war in Syria.  If Assad stays, if Syria stays in the Russian sphere, who gives a eff (McCain, I'm talking to you, you dumbass)!  Stabilize the country and get the refugees home.

I didn't walk into anything, I support all actions against ISIS.

The closeted and un-closted (and angry) HRC supporters in residence are just lashing out because they supported a woman who never met a war against a sovereign nation she didn't want and support.   ISIS is not a recognized sovereign nation-state.

So . . . sad

Pretty succinct if I do say so.

So much lashing out by resident HRC Lovers.   Let's come together as one guys!

Time to set aside the angst and guilt from your years of cheerleading for Hillary's Wars.   It's a new day!

According to the National Archives, there have been more proposed constitutional amendments to change the Electoral College than any other topic (700 proposals in Congress in the last 200 years!)
Quote
Part of the answer is that it’s very difficult to amend the Constitution, requiring an organized, concerted effort to keep the proposed change on the agenda in Congress. The amendment process requires even more than that, though; after a proposed amendment passes in Congress, it has to be approved by three-fourths of the states. (There’s an alternate path to amending the Constitution, but it’s even more arcane.) And enough states are made more influential in the Electoral College that they wouldn’t be on board with a constitutional change.

Asking a large majority of the 35 states that get to elect the person they want to hand over the keys to shithole california and new york and d.c. area is a pipedream of epic proportions.

I'd just like to see an option where it isn't a winner take all in most of the states.

Can you imagine how boring election night coverage would be if all we were watching was a popular vote instead of 10-15 different elections?

I like the Electoral College.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

I like the Electoral College.

We would be gearing up for a nationwide recount right now if we went by the popular vote.
