It was a derisive way of showing my contempt for "engineers" from other disciplines.

sys, your support of this guy is confusing to me. I am don't understand as to how anyone but a registered republican would support his candidacy. His platform is conservative red meat, not even moderate.

there are only 4 living beings on this planet with a path to becoming president assuming nobody is killed or dies

of those 4 people evan mcmullin is my #1 choice by far.

felix's Egypt thread has given me all the data I need to know that we need a Mormon cia operative in the white house.

i don't support him and won't be voting for him.  i want him to win utah, because i like underdogs and quirky stories, because it makes me happy to see a group of republicans willing to reject trump, and because i lived in utah for a while and would enjoy seeing utahns reassert their cultural and political distinctiveness.

Evan McMullin is in the top 4? So you think he has more of a chance than Jill Stein even though he isn't even on the ballot in most states and even though he didn't even have a running mate in time for the write-in deadline so you actually have to write-in some other guy for VP instead of his actual running mate?

Jill Stein has no path to victory. Neither does Gary.

I've seen some site say that Bernie could win vermont, nobody gets 270, and the house decides it for him.  I wouldn't call it a likely result but Bernie as the 4th?

How about if the House can't decide so then the Senate has to vote for VP and the VP becomes (acting) President because the House still can't break the tie....Then Kaine could be President.

Oh my 4th was if the house can't choose by inauguration day the Senate apparently chooses from the top two veep candidates? Seems dumb. I guess that's 5 people with a path to victory.

Oh they only get to choose from the two highest VP candidates. I was really hoping there was a path for Nathan Johnson.
