It's shocking that such a large amount of people were unaware that roughly half of the population of their country disagreed with them on many political and social issues.
I am surprised that I was surprised. Again, though, it's not so much about the "issues" as it is about tacit acceptance or endorsement of people being shitty to each other. I had no idea that people are so okay with that.
When it's your team that's being shitty, people will rationalize just about anything and keep supporting the team. Just look at Baylor and Penn State.
Yep. The same thing could probably be said of hillary supporters rationalizing her scandals.
how's that saying go about too often we judge others by their worst examples while we view ourselves with the best of intentions?
the hysteria over all of this is annoying, but I can empathize with the fear that a lot of people feel. Trump and his supporters said many disgusting things throughout this campaign. If I were a minority, I would most likely be very upset.
I don't feel like articulating the rest of my thoughts on the issue.
