With like 6 minutes left Michigan scored 15 points in 3 minutes to take the lead for the first time. Florida state had a long kickoff return and scored to go up by 3. Michigan blocked the PAT and returned it for 2 points to trail by one. Then Florida St held on and won by 1.

And on that kickoff return the guy almost took a knee, panicked, took a quick look around then decided to return the kick. He ended up returning it 70 yards to give FSU great field position.

it's so bizarre. I mean Sarkasian is going to be calling the plays? I realize they have a lot of talent and Sark has a pretty good feel for Kiffin's system but that's just bonkers.

I doubt think it went that far, but I don't think Saban felt Lane was 100% in. And probably to Saban, that's pretty much equal to sabotage.

McMurphy cited a source as saying late to meetings, made ass-chewing comment, etc. so yeah basically felt he wasn't 100% in

The highlight of the Peach bowl was Saban losing his mind as they had multiple delay of game penalties. Lane might of actually been fired at halftime. Kiffin and Sark are Norm Chow disciples and prolly have a ton in common

Maybe it's part of the make up of a division 1 coach, but he seems very confident that he is "the guy" that makes things work wherever he is.
He also appears pretty entitled. Maybe that comes with his intelligence of the game too. Don't know.
