DO NOT waste money on ATM fees. Make sure there are a couple of places around town where you can get cash for free.

Some student loans don't accrue interest until 6 months after you graduate so, in that case, it would make more sense to put the money in an interest bearing account until you leave school.

Yeah safe ride is safe but it takes for rough ridin' ever. MHK has uber now which is much faster

I did this my last year and immediately put it in a 9 month CD. I graduated, cashed the CD, immediately paid back the loan, and gave myself a $550 graduation gift. Of course, interest rates were higher then.
