The block is made new each year as a teambuilding activity. They all sit down with a pack of markers color it up and tell what the block means to them and then name one thing they are taking on a desert island. each person has to recite what everyone else is taking on the desert island before naming what they will take. if they mess it up the block is burned and they start again.
