My sister had been planning a trip to Scotland for about a year...her flight left at 7:30 last night

well her Scotland trip is a lot less expensive than she thought it would be

Just booked/paid all my UK hotels last week  :bang:

did you prepay or something? assuming you didn't, swiping your card over there will work out great when you get your cc bill

Britain was sending about £200MM to the EU weekly. Now, they'll have to spend more than that each week just to have access to the European markets plus more for all the restructuring.

I have 13 Brits on my staff. When I told them about the vote this morning they all cheered, when I told them about Cameron they were fist pumping and high fiving each other, when I told them about the pound some of them cried. One girl told me she exchanged at 1.82 when she arrived a month ago (i told her that couldn't be right the best I saw was 1.67, she insists that it is), as of this second the exchange is 1.36.

Yeah, no one in the UK is talking about immigration. And you definitely can't read anything about the relationship between Brexit and immigration from sources like the BBC or Telegraph.

It's not like Nigel Farage made it "the defining issue" or anything

I’m a bit shocked to be honest.
I’m shocked that we actually have voted to Leave, I didn’t think that was going to happen.
My vote, I didn’t think was going to matter too much because I thought we were just going to Remain, and the David Cameron resignation has blown me away to be honest.
I think the period of uncertainty that we’re going to have for the next couple of months, that’s just been magnified now.
So yeah, quite worried.

What's really awesome about this referendum is that it is non-binding.  It wouldn't surprise me at all to see Parliament start to look at leaving and then decide to stay.

I think the journalistic reaction to, what is essentially the beginning of the end of the failed EU, is pretty rough ridin' hilarious.

Sad day for the progessotards and their beta test unelected global government.  :bawl:

Huge lol @ anyone who thinks the EU could shut out the UK, even if it wanted to.
