It’s one of the dumber Elon ideas. But he’s had a lot of really good ones and they can’t all be winners. Good hit ratio.

yeah, this was is a real head scratcher that he seem all in on. I wish he would get in the train business since he obv has given up on the hyper loop thingy.

The obvious solution is to build another tunnel underneath that one in case the first tunnel gets congested.  Mods feel free to move this to the Million Dollar Ideas thread.
