Dad had a custom conversion. Fantastic travel van. We made many trips from Wellington to Colorado.

IPA Fiance bought a Ford Escape with 19K on it last August. Transmission just took a dump at 40K. She's livid. I have 56K on mine. Hoping for 200K.

My old ass Camry had a bad oil leak and I was a little worried I would have to retire it and buy a new sled.  Turns out it was just a worn out valve cover gasket that my local guy was able to replace for fairly cheap.  Should be good to go for another 256k miles!!

Had an 03 Forester for the last 5 years or so. 200k+ and then it threw a rod. Now I have a car payment for the first time in my 37 years...

I think I'm going to get one of those new 3 row grand cherokees this spring. unless they look stupid in person.

I'm not a Jeep brand guy but when I saw the Grand Cherokee L I was pretty impressed.  It's the size I'm going after.  Seems to have luxury features and a pretty decent towing package.

Looks pretty hot.

I ordered one of these a few weeks ago.  Went all in on the Summit Reserve with V8.  I'm hoping to have it by end of October.

So mine is on it's last leg. We've all known I bought a lemon for years. 2002 VW. It's only at 130,000 miles, but I've plugged so much $ into this POS. I feel like I just need it to get me through June (wedding), but the risk/reward is a bit terrifying. Like, every time I slow down and come to a stop light, it kicks back hard. When I have ppl in it, they feel like they're about to die, because they're not used to it. I figure I can do one last oil change tomorrow and get some crap tighten and then give it ago. What's the longest you went holding onto a POS?
Wow! My new car is paid off next month with only 75,000 miles on it! TY WFH!

Probably won't buy the first year but the Maverick still has me intrigued because of that gas mileage

CarMax is bitb. Fair pricing. Easy transaction. No shame at all IMO.

Nice. Paid mine off last month. 61K miles. Gonna keep pounding that double payment into savings and pay cash for a car in a couple of years.

well ford screwed up the new bronco launch and now, since I ordered a 2 door, I won’t be able to take delivery until 2022.  so anyway, i’m really thinking about an audi q8 instead.

anyone driving one of these hoes?

Don't buy anything that is 2020 or later for another year or so.  New cars/trucks are all crap.  Covid cars.

nm, the Q8 doesn't have a bad one.  I don't like most Audi steering wheels with a big round thing in the middle.

Cars that sat in storage without control boards are being shipped as is. Dealers are installing the control board. Consumers will be paying extra labor.

That's about the only issue I see.
