The conference as a whole is going to take a big step back next year. 13 of the 28 players who received all conference recognition were seniors.

That doesn't sound like an unusually high number, especially if you add in early entries which we'll likely have none this season.

The Cats will be preseason #7 I suspect

Teams ahead: KU, Texas, OU, ISU, WVU, BAY
Teams behind: Tech, TCU, OSU

I bet we'll be predicted to finish 8th again. OSU has the best underclassmen PG in the league, and they are bringing in a very solid recruiting class. Not to mention, I'm assuming they get Phil Forte back for another year. They should actually be pretty salty next year.

Tech will be picked ahead of us, I know we were the youngest team in the history of American sports but they're returning more minutes and scoring than we are.

amazing!

We actually return slightly more of both, but its pretty much a wash.

Really? The minutes stat I got off of ESPN, they had it as percentage of returning minutes, the points I made an educated guess on.

Tech 72.7% of returning mins and K-State 75.3% of returning minutes. I remember looking at that ESPN graphic and thinking it didn't make any sense . I don't know what metric they were using to adding things. Maybe mpg :dunno: <--- doesn't count games not played.

That makes more sense the ESPN graphic had both teams in the high 60s.

Last year 9 seniors made the list, and the year before that only 7. The Big 12 was a very old league this year.

If Morris, Taylor declared the big 12 should take a pretty good step back. If not I think it can stay a top 3 league.

It will stay a top league because of the coaches.
