if we lose the remaining 6 games and finish last in Big 12 maybe oscar will get fired. so the magic number still remains 6.

oscar needs 2 wins to show progress, overall. He needs 5 wins to show progress in the conference.

Start with that. Deb Patterson was fired for 4 years of continuing downward trajectory. Is our men's program held to a lesser standard?

However, after crunching some numbers 4 wins gets us in the NIT. 3 more wins will put us at a 61% chance of getting in.

Currie didn't hire Deb. Currie hired oscar. Different Standard.

If he missed NIT this year he can make NIT next year and show progress and not have to make NCAA until 2017-2018
