I may vote for this guy if he runs and either Trump or Cruz get the GOP nomination. I may vote for him even if Rubio gets it.

I will listen to what he says.  If it's not crazy talk about how fearful we need to be or how American should be going into a bunch of more wars, I might listen.

What exactly isn't crazy about this guy?  Isn't he the one who confiscated candy bars and large fountain drinks?  Isn't he the one who runs that sham business periodical?

The candy/soda stuff is going to be even better than the teleprompter stuff.

I mean, I have no clue about this guy yet, but it could be great combofanning stuff.

some interesting nuggets.  i would love it so much if sanders, bloomberg and romney ran thirds against 'pub trump and 'crat clinton.

This doesn't make any sense to me at all. How is he politically any different than the millions of establishment democrats already in Washington?

if you read the story i linked, you can probably see why i like him.  i don't agree with him on lots of stuff, but i find him a compelling and admirable person.

I read it but don't know the appeal, especially if you're not a policy match.

it's hard to explain in brief, and i don't want to type out a gigantic love post to bloomie.  there are reasons both logical and sublogical (for example, i consume and like some of the products of his media enterprises, that conflates into some positive feelings towards him).  but basically he is extremely accomplished.  seems to be honest and concerned about some idea of public virtue - for example he has had national political ambitions for some time, but he spearheaded the cup size thing in ny even though he had to be aware that doing so was damaging to any national ambitions he has.  i disagree with him on that issue too, but i admire that he did what he thought was right even though it was damaging to him.  i also like his disdain for the political parties.  and his personality.  like that thing in the article about overriding the ceo on the labor lawyer and firing his ass a few weeks later.  i like that.

i mean, i don't agree with any politician of any party on tons of stuff, probably the majority of stuff.  so the fact that i disagree with bloomberg on a lot doesn't disqualify him from me liking him more than any of the others.

How does it work if not one candidate secures the majority of electoral college votes in a general election?  Say the vote is split 46/44/10?

if no one gets 270, the house elects a pres.

So in that instance the house is 435 seats so must one candidate garner 218 or more votes?  Can someone win with less than 50% of the votes?
