Chicken fried steak skillet (chicken fried steak, sausage gravy, fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, bell peppers) at Village Inn always hit the spot post-Aggieville.

The Standard:

Bacon, eggs (fried in bacon grease) w/ cheddar cheese on top, toast (toasted in bacon grease) w/ jam, oj, milk, coffee (black).

Have any of you ever been to Opera House in the river market? They have the BITB breakfast sandwich, that comes with the BITB potatoes.
I take it this means it is a ketchup sandwich with ketchup bread, eggs, and potatoes covered in ketchup?

My taste moves around.  I eat certain things for a week or two then switch.

Right now it dice a couple ounces of ham, two green onions, a small amt.of red bell pepper, and some crimini mushrooms, saute them in butter, then Crack eggs on top and cook over easy.  Before you eat, chop it all up so yoke goes all over.  It's delish.

Ham is the bastard child of the breakfast meats.

An underrated fast food breakfast is Corner Bakery.  I really like those flat bread sandwiches for a low calorie option.

Ingredient is also very good for fast food.

If you want to go old school fast food without regard for calories, Hardee's just might be the best.

Order of b&sg, grits on top, 1 egg sunny side up on top of grits. Hot sauce.
(You people that just say b&g kind of worry me that you don't like sausage gravy)oj, and black coffee.

Omelets can be tough to get perfect.  I mean, it is most likely that part of it is still runny or too dry and who knows if the cheese will be melted enough, unless you are using some crap oily processed cheese food.

If you like omelets, frittata are the way to go.  Much easier to get exactly how you want it in pretty much every way.

Keep it simple, bacon eggs and toast.

Yup.. eggs sunny side up, post scrambled (is that how it's described?) w/ black pepper.. bacon and toast... done

Good omelet takes a lot of practice and knowing your pan and heat source really well

omelettes aren't really that hard once you get the hang of it though... Need to fold / take off heat while it is still barely runny on the top and it will cook through as it rests for a minute.
