Conference did us no favors by not scheduling KU earlier in the season. By the time we play them, they will have there crap figured out and will be playing the best ball of anyone in the conference at that time.

This makes me think that Texas and WV will fade a bit and OU is going to coast to the finish line.

But it makes sense for bad teams to be at the top because they don't get to play themselves.  They have to play better teams.

With the round robin, and assuming this is only in conf and not non-con, doesn't that just mean we are the worst team and get credit for not having to play ourselves twice?

So Oklahoma is #2?

Yes, there is some truth to that, but there is also truth that by now the rest of the wins/losses of your opponents add up.

Regardless, you play everyone, so I think the "schedule maker" talk is dumb. K-State has blown chances to win plenty of games so far and they have only themselves to blame for being 2-6.

Particularly with such a young team, it would make more sense that we would improve at a faster rate than a more experienced team.

That would be the schedule makers doing us a huge favor.

In this instance, oscar would say the schedule makers didn't do us any favors because the good teams with more experienced players would be peaking at the end of the season just a little more than we were.

When you are the 8th or 9th best team in the conference, it's hard for the schedule makers to help you out.
