Evidently the mayor is asking Obama to reconsider declaring it a natural disaster because lead getting into water is a natural occurring process if exposed to water.

Same radio piece said that the mayor noted the need for nat disaster money from the fed because the state can't afford to replace "city water plumbing and plumbing in homes". You know the city/state is mumped when they are trying to voluntarily replace the plumbing in homes.

I hadn't seen this. It makes a lot more sense why the residents want the governor to resign now.

Michigan voters repealed the financial manager dudes in a vote so the gov said eff that and did the managers again but this time did it in a way that can't be repealed

So the emergency public manager that got fired for giving Flint lead poisoining just got appointed as the emergency manager of Detroit public schools last year.

So he will use his executive pen to give billions of free vote for a Democrat grant money to replace all of the lines in Flint. Poor white communities in kansas have to borrow money for such repairs. These local yokels need to swim in their own whiz water. No fed help!!!
