Toadies tonight at Knuckleheads. I've never been there. Unfortunately Reiger is closed on Tuesdays so I guess I'm just going to hang out at a place called Knuckleheads for a bit before the show.

pretty sure tonight is outside. its says "doors open at 7" for the 8pm show. does that mean the whole place opens at 7 or will the inside be open for drinks prior?

they have a handful and they do a pretty good blondie cover of heart of glass. They are supposed to be really fun live. i'm excited.

I saw the Toadies when I was in high school and they were kind of a washed up one hit wonder back then. Can't believe they are still around. Was a fun show, though.

Also saw them around HS. If I remember right I got there CD handed to me by them directly from the stage.

They were here last week and it would’ve been fun but I couldn’t go.

Toadies were awesome fellas. I was amazed at how good they still sounded. Really great show. Its the 25th anniversary or the Rubberneck album so they played it straight through in between a couple of warmups and then a few other songs to close. Knuckleheads was a really fun place.

They played one song that I had no idea they sang that I enjoyed. It was like their first hit I think. Had no idea. Dude is def talented and has a huge following. As I said above, the diversity of the crowd was really interesting. and by diversity I don't mean race, because I don't think I saw one non white person.

If you had 90s country music “star” Mark Wills on your 2022 concert lineup then I invite you to join me at the greatest concert location on our planet, Disney’s Epcot Center world showcase concert stage. He actually did a nice show and had more songs than I remembered remembering.

Awolnation were pretty good. I was curious as to how they would sound live and it was pretty good. They were loud as crap though. This may need to cross post with the old ballz thread, but holy crap. I was leaning up again a wall for a while and I had to move away from it because the sound was bouncing right back into my brain. My first Uptown concert and that place was really cool. Back to the old man thread but that is 2 Tuesday night concerns in a row and I would appreciate it bands I liked would at least come to KC on Thursdays if they could.

FYI The War on Drugs at Redrocks was as epic as it sounds.

I have seen them 3x this year, they were amazing each time, but unfortunately not the Red Rocks show. Hopefully next time.

I did see My Morning Jacket at Dillon & Red Rocks though. Transformative shows, such great venues. The Red Rocks show had Steam Engine and Phone Went West and closed with Rocket Man, AEIOU, Touch Part 2, and Wordless Chorus.
