I just went and dug back through this thread. I was able to attend at least one concert a month the whole year, which doesn't even account for many of the performances I attended at Mae's. I saw STS9 the most, a total of four shows. Umphrey's Mcgee was next at three shows. I was able to see Robert Earl Keen & Lyle Lovett, Rebelution, and Split Lipp Rayfield all perform twice. 2016 was a fantastic year of concerts for me.

I am on track to accomplish this again with Galactic next month and Big Gigantic in March. I think I will make my first trip to Cain's Ballroom to catch Umphrey's in April. I hope to catch three runs at Red Rocks this summer (Umphrey's, String Cheese, and STS9). I am looking forward to 2017 greatly.

Not as good of a line up as last year but still not bad. Will be attending again. I really wish this was not clear out at the Toyota Park.

Some good bands, some really awful bands, a crowd I don't want to be near.

last week a buddy of mine asked if I wanted to go to that and I just lol'd him.

though I think I would get a kick out of a steel panther show.

I think Steel Panther would be quite fun too.

I would recommend Zed 451.  One of those all you can eat Brazilian steakhouses where they bring cut after cut of meat to your table.  I'm no foodie, but that was probably my favorite meal I've had since I've lived here.

oh I didn't realize gourmet man food was actually a term of art used by the concert.  that's ridiculous.

I am springing for the $425 VIP tickets this year to get away from the great unwashed masses. Fenced off section with separate concessions and bathrooms. Also has elevated views from platforms by the stage.

I rode an elevator with and shook Gene Simmons hand (#fanningbrag).   But I don't like Kiss, and think they're sloppy as hot garbage live.

Should I be excited that Depeche Mode will have a North America swing on their tour?
