slackcat, the correct answer is to go see both. Back to back Fridays of some kickass old balls musicians sounds pretty good to me.

If you lean more Waters than Petty anyway, go see Waters. All the other stuff in the show will probably be awesome. All the other production in The Wall was great. Just don't expect much out of his voice.

If you want to see someone do a great job of singing someone else's Pink Floyd songs (a lot of the Pink Floyd songs that Waters will sing were originally sung by Gilmore) go see Brit Floyd.

A month or so ago the kc PBS station had a fundraiser while showing a brit floyd concert. One of the donation "perks" was tickets to them in kc. Kind of wish I would have done it.

If it was a month ago you didn't miss anything. They came thru last summer. It was a replay and they didn't cut out the offers.
