This thread took a delightful turn. I still need to know what construction site emo is currently working at though. Also the thought of him driving some work pickup truck through the starbucks drive thru with that thermos from 1979 asking for it to be filled with black coffee is just soooooo  to me. One day he's going to catch some kid having a shitty day and they are going to ask him if he meant to go to McDonalds or some shitty Conoco or Diamond Shamrock and got lost. I mean I think those things would even be out of place at a QT.

I feel like if you can still rock a big thermos, you make a truck load of money.

Just letting it be known that I have been entertained by the at-times-heated thermos talk. Also, over-broad generalizations are always bullshit!

Millennial (spelled correctly) here, btw...

Lost in the conversation is how much the thermos handoff slows down the line.

Also, get a contigo you old ass thermos wielding freaks.

contigos are fine for sipping while driving, but they don't have the volume, insulation or leak prevention of a stanley.  right tool for the job.

I love the smell of fresh coffee but some people like to let that crap burn and that's gross. Also, perhaps stains on the furniture from all that is associated with a coffee pot? I can keep going. Come on Puni! :D

They absolutely have the insulation and leak prevention (get the autoseal, I'll send you a link, grandpa) and they have a 24 oz version, which is more than enough you spoiled little brat.

Get a hot water kettle and an aero press to make your coffee one cup at a time.

Got to be the stupidist naive morons ever.  Maybe there is global warming and it's messing up sperms.  I just got back from the coffee shop on this good holiday of peace madder than hell.  Trying to convince a college kid $15 an hour minimum wage ain't good is a losing cause.  His response was any business can afford to pay this wage plus health care insurance.  I tried.  He left in his new looking f250 and drove away.  I climbed in ol Betzy and headed home cussing.
