Check his classes sys. At least ranking wise.

recruit rank is a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) way to evaluate how good a recruit was, after they've played at least a year or two in college.

I think he was a good PG, I just don't think he was "great"! He pissed me off at the FT line down the stretch of many games.

Angel was really incredible at assists. His rate of 11.7 per 100 possessions as a sophomore is still the best (by far) over the last 15 years. His assist to TO ratio that year was 2.2 good for 4th. His freshman year assists per 100 at 8.6 is 7th.

He would have been remembered as one of the best PGs ever at K-State (if not the best) if he had stayed for 4 years.

he was also voted onto the all big 12 defensive team which is pretty amazing for a sophomore

you also probably remember jake for the last ten seconds of that Wisconsin game. two kstate players that you think were overrated, inconsistent and comparable to sophomore nigel johnson, which to be fair would make perfect sense because you're a complete dumbass.

if you can't see that saying angel and nigel johnson were comparable is dumb then I'm not sure what else to say. one was voted to the all big twelve defensive team and overall all big 12 second team and the other was nigel johnson.

Anyone who wants to discuss Nigel needs to take it to the Players Who You Forgot Played At KSU thread.

How many of those games did he have limited playing time because of that other crap face PG?

at this point, I am about 80% sure that Wacky is in fact Nigel Johnson.   :surprised:

Yes. This is perhaps some of the weirdest posting from wacky that I've seen. I guess the recency effect must be in full force. ISU and KU were like the only 2 really good games Nigel had in his entire career at K-State. They were the anomalies of his entire career at K-State besides a few good early OOC games last year.

Wacky, Nigel Johnson was a very objectively bad point guard. He never even sniffed a 2-1 a/to ratio. The closest he got was 1.5/1, and that is just terrible. He was bad at basketball. He buoyed his 3p% his sophomore year by having three out of body experience type games, but other than that, he was a bad shooter as well (shooting 20% from behind the arc in all other games, and under 30% his freshman year as well, which was also buoyed by a couple of ridiculous performances surrounded by 17% shooting from behind the arc in all other freshman contests). He sucked. Anything positive to be found in his stats can be linked back to a handful of games, literally like five good games in two years of college basketball. He was horrible. We are so bad now that he actually would have value on this team, but that is an indictment of oscar's recruiting and in no way an endorsement of Nigel's Johnson basketball skill, which was minimal.

Until this post I literally could not even remember Nigel's last name. I saw a long string of posts in a row simply calling him Nigel, and for the life of me I just could not remember it.
