Probably because it is almost 11 in the morning and some posters are still trying to sleep off their hangovers. Or that some are in the graduation ceremony in Manhattan. Or some trying to get some Christmas shopping done before the cold weather slams this region.

gE won the internet in 2011-2012, and it's been a slow decline since. Between the death of basketball and the drastic drop off in football there's just not much to be excited about. I guess facilities?

Now it's primarily a collection of about 30 friends that have "grown up" and moved on from college. Hot topics are work, child care, politics, religion, economy, homes, cooking/grilling, tv/movies, etc. They got "old".

The inside info has dwindled because they or their friends arent in class or at parties with the athletes anymore.

They have lost their edge, and are a shell of the mighty power they once were. It's inevitable.

Will they pass the torch to the next generation, and rise like the phoenix, or instead gently go into that good night?

(from a lurker who admittedly never contributed anything of value)

Fans of those schoolswould probably get just as excited as Hog fans over playing the Insight bowl.  You can't expect a helmet program like KSU to get excited about playing a rinky dink bowl against a small time opponent.

Arkansas fans treat this game like the Super Bowl.  KSU fans treat it like the Pro Bowl.

It's too bad no one will read this since it is buried ITT.  Hottest of the hot takes.

I love how you guys already know you're going to lose so your defense mechanism is to discredit the game.
I'm sure your players would love to know how their fans felt about their hardwork this year.

Players are mad they didn't win another conference championship, don't give AF about a bowl game.  Most are on the beach

That's sad. I don't believe you though. That doesn't make any kind of sense. Not to mention, you were nowhere close to winning conference championship.

No, you're being coy here.  You know all the locals know Jack swims in the "pond" behind his trailer, that is the sewer lagoon.  And how nice of you to call him pondwater jack, when everyone that knows him IRL calls him stinkwater jack.
