Me too. Right after I finished up the last 20 minutes. I guess she was able to successfully go scuba diving after all.

I hadn't either. I can see the possibility, especially since it appeared she was starting to scream "stop!" as the bubble flooded. I assumed for a bit she had actually stopped, but once she told her story I believed it.
