Can we finally agree that the defense is horrible yet?

I can't believe there was ever any doubt.
Me either, yet people still though we had a good defense after the La Tech game.
Outside of the last game, the offense can pretty much go eff itself too. Throw in Can'Tele and this entire team can go eff itself.
For sure the offense isn't great, but then again we weren't told all off season the offense would be the strength of the team.

I mean the defense is the worst unit of the field for us.  It's worse than our offense which is lead by a QB who never started a game in his life.

It should be now. I cannot fathom the state of this team by the time the KU game rolls around.  Could easily be on an 7 game losing streak (which if not for us scratching out a win against the titans of football known as La Tech would be an 8 game losing streak).

KU vs KSU might be the only chance for the state of Kansas to have a team beat a P5 conference team.

Pretty obvious Snyder was getting sick of all the talk about crappy second haves and said "hey, I guarantee we will have a better second half against OU."

What's the point having a healthy Cook with Hubener at QB?

They're not trying to get him experience doofus. Cook isn't the future, he's just the best available QB we have. Being on the field as a WR is useless with Hubes at QB.

I didn't watch during the Prince years.

Those years all featured Freeman, so yea. Can't put it all on Hubes though. OU has trouble stopping the run and our coaches call all passes for no good reason. If we did that with Klein in 2011 we would have lost over half our games.

Hubes can't run half as well as Klein either.

They have to do something in the next ten quarters before we get to the back half of the Big 12 schedule.  If we don't do something different, we won't have a shot against Tech/ISU/KU/WVU and getting to six wins.

I think this was just the coaches giving up on Hubener and saying they're going to go with Cook for the remainder.  They need to pull Zuber's redshirt and just rough ridin' go young.  If anyone has any athletic ability, let them play and get experience in the next two games.

Agreed. We can afford to drop this game, but the ship needs to be righted within a few weeks or else we are back to obscurity. There is no reason to keep redshirts on WRs right now if they are any better than the guys on the field (and, logically speaking, they almost HAVE to be).
