Quote from: ELL3 on November 15, 2015, 11:32:24 AMThere is no guarantee he gets the medical redshirt, he did play in two games. Based on the way this program is run could easily see Hub as QB next season and Delton sitting. When they apply for the hardship he'll get it, he's way below the maximum threshold of time you're allowed to play. They may not even apply this year, they don't have to.

It's conceivable that Delton may take a redshirt year before his senior year, in which case a medical redshirt would be moot.(Need backup from someone who actually knows anything about redshirts)

I am totally being pessimistic, but I am getting this nagging feeling that Delton will never be the starting QB at K-State.

They're going to play the experience factor and give the start to Huebner next year and then Delton is gonna transfer out, which I hope he does if that's the case.
well hes probably not wrong

Every indication I've heard is that Delton is well liked by the coaching staff and will have every opportunity to win the job next fall. In fact, if he hadn't been injured I bet he would have started a game by now.
If it were up to me, Wintz would be on a fan scholarship, full ride.

Why do you think it's an either or situation?
