okay so just to clear up a few wacky misconceptions:

banks IS in fact available and as it sits is our #2. whether he uses his red shirt or its pulled TBD
We have in fact pulled a persons redshirt during the season, actually well into the season to be accurate.
Snyder controls injuries thus the reason he has rarely pulled a kids red shirt off into the season.

thats all i got for those wondering where we stand right now.

Fact: Banks will play this year.

So there is no point in being conservative with the playcalling.

Welcome to Big12 play.

I don't really have a favorite in this year's group of QBs honestly. I'm just going based on what I've seen, in fact I'm fine with Banks burning his redshirt if he's a better player, it just seems like Snyder is trying really hard not to do it.

Why wouldn't any of us want Hubener to be successful? He is the quarterback that Coach thinks is best. I defer to him. I want Hubener to be very successful, because that means the Cats win lots of games.

Back up QBs are usually better than the starter most of the time, at least in the eyes of the fans. Its a long standing football tradition.

I try to forget that.  I know the person waiting in line for my job is far better prepared and far more able than I am.  He should be in this office already.

So 20 years ago? Got it.

didn't we roast sproles' redshirt late in a season?

Midway I think.

Darren Lee Sproles, the greatest cat o.a.t. played 6 games in 2001; exactly half of that garbage season.
