This crap would rough ridin' piss me off!  :curse:

http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/14261790/ohio-state-buckeyes-test-value-not-having-conference-title

I still thinks it's a win win. If the committee puts tOSU in, it would prompt a change in the current format due to the joke of a process they apparently have (which is, you either have to go undefeated in a P5 conference or you have to have a brand name).

The hypocrisy would be overwhelming if tOSU supposedly gets in last year due to the title game, and then gets in this year with a resume that's really not even close to Baylor's or TCU's last year.

Do you seriously not see the glaring differences in the scenarios? It's not even close to apples to apples, its like apples to steam engines.

I don't see much of a difference if you remove the names, but I have been confirmed as a dumbass on this board before.

By my understanding, tOSU has played two good teams this year, losing one and winning one. I don't see how they could legitimately crack the top four without an additional resume builder unless they just happen to be "close enough" and sell a lot of T-Shirts and tickets.

OSU getting in over North Carolina in that scenario would be pretty bad.

Potentially. They did play two FCS teams this year and lost to South Carolina.

Yeah, but they would be conference champs coming off a win over #1.

Sure, but that's not the comparison that he made and while UNC would have a great win their overall resume would be worse than Baylor and TCU's last season. If he compared 2015 UNC to 2014 Baylor and TCU it is a much cleaner comparison than comparing them to 2014 tOSU and more importantly the circumstances that led to Baylor and TCU getting left out as compares to what would have to happen for tOSU to get in.

This isn't the rough ridin' SAT. The point is the Committee would have to jump through hoops trying to justify why tOSU should get in, and their justification for doing so would have to be completely different than their justification last year.

How much money did Texas cost us today? Should have just laid down so Baylor could get into the best bowl possible.

Did it really even matter? All it changed was which team went as the BXII rep to the New Years 6.

Baylor probably would have embarrassed the Big 12 if they went to a New Years 6 bowl.

It doesn't matter if you win or lose the bowl game. What matters is the millions in your pocket.

Sure, but if teams at the top of the Big 12 blow it whenever they play anyone decent OOC, it ends up dragging down everyone's chances of making it into major bowl games in the future.
