Death toll up to 251

Has now risen to 280.  This is the largest loss of life since 329 died in a storm in April of 1974.  I have a bad feeling this is going to end up topping that.

Another one rated an EF-5, Hackleburg.

I'm guessing the Tuscaloosa one will be an EF-5 as well.

Pretty good read on how this outbreak is too much to handle for the current NWS survey program, which is under funded and under staffed and won't even take information from experts outside the NWS.

So although this is one of the worst outbreaks in history, it will not be fully understood from a damage/EF rating perspective

Cory Adams would have snapped his girl to safety and blocked down on the twister.
