No joke, I love SHTF books, Nuclear War/Illness kills 99%/Power goes out society collapses etc etc.

When doomsday actually happens I am gonna head out to the family compound in western ks and form an alliance with queen winters clan.

I'm going to Mars with Richard Branson when crap goes down, so whatever.

Serious note though, your parents seem like stupid people (like all preppers that go to such lengths, nothing personal). In their exotic doomsday scenario, their guns won't protect them from the unprepared masses for long, so they'll have wasted all this effort for a couple extra days of a shitty life.

So how much does it cost to insure all that extra stuff? Do you insure it? Does the insurance company have a list of prepper insured houses they will go after if the shtf? Just a few thoughts...
