Blvd Chocolate Ale at Aggie Station. We went through a 6 barrel keg in 8 hours, and that's selling it in 10oz portions.

Chocolate Ale is the definition of average beer. People in KC Kansas like Blvd way too much.

It's the only chocolate ale/stout/porter than I've had that actually tasted like chocolate. So there's that.

Rye on Rye can't be found any longer, right?

I bought 4 bottles and am regretting buying so few.

I will pay you $6.75 for one of those bottles.

I already let you have half of a bottle for frizzle. Your money ain't green enough for me. Now, if you want to get like 8 bottles from Steve Dave, I'll definitely give you money for your troubles of driving to NE.

so i guess they stopped making the toothpaste i use, so when i was at the store the other day i decided to try out one of the new brands that they replaced it with.  anyway it's for some reason chocolate flavored and smells exactly like cocoa chowder for hot chocolate.  i'm not too sure on it yet, but i don't think i like it.

Pro Tip:  Chocolate Ale is not worth the time commitment.

2nd Pro Tip:  Chocolate Ale is not a top 5 Boulevard beer.

If you want chocolate, try Shake Chocolate Porter.

had this tonight and i enjoyed it.

Boulevard is a great brewery and brand and frankly it'd be a little weird if kc people weren't all about it. The beers that get the most hype from them are far from their best though.

Had Rye on Rye last week and thought it was excellent. Gave it a 4.5 on Untappd. The 12% knocked me out too

Yeah, if you don't like Rye on Rye, I feel bad for you, son.

It's one of the best craft beers everytime it's ranked/judged.

Steve Dave has me strongly considering a trip to Omaha.

Boulevard is a great brewery, and connoisseurs on the coasts and up north will agree.  We really are spoiled in KC with Boulevard.  So to say Boulevard does not make great beer is an opinion that most experts and Brewmasters do not agree with.  Now I will agree with EMAWmeister's comment that the Boulevard beer people crave about in KC is not their best work.  Boulevard was published as #3 in USA Today's top craft beer breweries.  It's all subjective, but it is much better than "Average at Best."
