All 4 will fall in an adequacy range that has OBz unable to know which one's which during games.

Is it really that hard to believe that we are going to have the least talented LHC Bill Snyder quarterback since 1992?  I mean, it seems obvious to me that this will be the case.

Grant Gregory had a demolished shoulder that he played through.  Same with Evridge. I expect Ertz to be no better than those guys WHEN Ertz injures his shoulder.

Will Ertz be better than CCQ?  Maybe, but CCQ put up respectable points per game, so it's not too big of a slight to Ertz to suggest he won't be better than CCQ.

Get real dudes.  We have some very below average QB play coming our way this year, if not the worst we have seen from Bill since 1992.

This may be the case but there isn't anything other than a hunch to believe that it will happen. There have been several years under Snyder that we've had qb uncertainty with wildly varying results. Even in '11 everyone wanted a backfield of Slamur and Bryce Brownn people freaked out about Klein and Hubert too. I really have no idea how this is going to go but I'm not going to resign us to 6-6 because I haven't seen these qb's play. I understand people who do, but let's not chalk this up to our destiny or a fact.

Also, SAMs was in the system for quite sometime. Like, he was Klein's backup and then Snyder had Klein call up Waters to wrangle him in. Aka... "Recruited over!"

The fact we were willing to take Nick Marshall and Jake is all you really need to know about the confidence the staff had in Sams.

Nick Marshall was one of the most heavily recruited juco quarterbacks of all time, in addition to this he had offers from every SEC school not named Vanderbilt out of high school. We started recruiting him during Sams' redshirt year at the absolutely latest. Jonathan Banks and his recruitment in no way shape or form resembles that of Nick Marshall.

Why is it that the people who whined the most about Sams v. Waters are the same people that can't stop talking about it? This situation and that situation have nothing of relevance in common, no matter how much you two clowns want to revise history. If we get a couple of games of Ertz playing mediocre with another one of the QBs clearly out playing him within the same games then we'll talk.

Waters was the #1 juco QB fwiw. We're just relaying patterns here, that's all. Deep breaths, bruh!

Wrong bro tho.  The DB is pro, but not the scout type QB.  IIRC

I'm guessing there aren't going to be any "What if Jessie Ertz is a Complete Badass" threads.   :frown:

Yeah man people are such assholes to not be excited about a guy who has played 2 snaps in 3 years, finished the season as a 3rd string qb, and got recruited over TWICE, the second time just 3 months ago. Shame on you goEMAW.com

That's a nice rant, but it has nothing to do with my post.

Of course, it being your post, it wasn't clever at all your intent was clear.

Good grief.  It must be terrible to go through life in such a negative, attack mode all the time.  Your interpretation of my post was completely wrong.

Don't you always try to sign as many good QB's as possible? :dunno:

Would you tell Peyton Manning "no" because you already had Tom Brady on scholarship?

I think we'll be totally fine with either Bazooka Joe or Bazooka Jesse.

I don't know as much about KSU cats football as the rest of you and that makes me sad sometimes.
