-I didn't realize that records for an entire year of basketball ticket sales had be destroyed (2008/2009). This is the year after their tainted NC, so demand (and abuse) would have been the greatest.

-Also, Perkins allocates all comp tickets (yet didn't know anything about this).

-Oh, our buddy the neighbor is in article.

:surprised:

Holy crap. What?!

If this indicates ticket theft, KSU is fracked.

Seems like there were students turned away at a couple of big games last year.

Pretty sure they oversell.  Either that, or I am believing exactly what they want me to... :dunno:

That's just overselling. Perfectly legasl as far as I know. The tickets even stated that "this ticket does not guarentee entrace" or w/e.

“Pressed for details on who he was delivering the tickets to in the hotel rooms, Dave Freeman refused.
“Not going there,” Freeman said. “One of them was about 250 pounds and he [expletive] talked like [he had a New Jersey accent]. You seen Goodfellas? I don’t know who the [expletive] they were. I can honestly tell you, I don’t know who the [expletive] they were. It was ‘This is the room you go to, this is the guy you need to see.’ There were no [expletive] names. The door would open and a guy would be standing there with a gun. You walk in, do the deal and you’re out.”

Nahhhhh, they purposely oversold because they knew the demand was going to be through the roof once we beat Texas. I'm pretty sure they even released a statement about it before the ku game ("Tickets were oversold, not gaurenteed enterence etc.")

Our Athletic Department might be stupid but we aren't crooks

Actually, it has nothing to do with beating Texas and everything to do with making the students buy football tickets to get basketball tickets this year. The student section in the LHC Bill Snyder Family Stadium is much larger than the student section in Bramlage Coliseum.
