sorry clams.  it's just i get so heated when i think about papa murphy's.  drives me absolutely bonkers.  i hate that place.  just buy ovens already.

but yeah, different stokes for different folks is right.  sorry s_60 and everyone else.  i let my temper get the best of me.
Do yourself a favor and get their taco pizza. Pre heat the oven before you leave so its ready.

Several pages of arguing and none of you even hit on the right reason why pizza places cooking their pizza is vastly superior to you cooking their pizza.

Commercial ovens are capable of reaching significantly higher temperatures than regular ovens, which results in a better crust and a more thoroughly cooked underside of the pizza.  This can be negated somewhat if you use a pizza stone and keep it in the oven while preheating, but unless they pull it out of the oven too soon (happened somewhat frequently during busy rushes while I worked at Little Caesars) the crust coming out of their oven will be better than if you made it in your oven.

If you want to argue "but I can control how well-done or doughy my crust is if I make it" just tell them how you want the crust done when you place your order.

When I tried going outside of the box with them, I wasn't left with a good impression.

if you play it safe with sarpinos and stick to the basics, they have a good pizza with good crust.

good news:  open late, delivers
bad news:  not very good, like a worse version of pizza hut pan pizza

final comment:  worth trying

How greasy do you like your pizza/calzones?

If the answer is super-rough ridin' greasy, you'll like them.

fun fact- if you drink to the point where you dont remember leaving a bar, sarpinos will deliver a 3/4 eaten pizza to your fridge the next morning for a decent charge on your credit card.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

Can confirm. Even if you aren't close, they'll just charge more for extra long delivery.

date night?!?!? :excited:

I get Papa Murphy's for babysitters. It's great for everyone. And I prefer it to regular pizza places in this scenario.
