dlew, friend, i just saw your idea of selling the ingredients to beer at a store where people can then take the stuff home and brew their own beer. really like that idea! take it to my investment pitch thread, maybe ill buy in.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

I am kinda like Dlew at mexican restaurants. I won't order fajitas because I don't want to assemble them myself. Just put the ingredients in the tortilla for me already sheesh.

Dlew, I'm being 100% serious when I asked this because you're usually good at analogies (and puns, but that's a whole 'nother story): Do you know how easy it is to use an oven?
yeah i know how easy it is to use an oven.  you preheat it and then wait 5 minutes then toss the pizza in on a baking sheet or pizza stone or what have you then you wait another 25 or 30 minutes and then grab an oven mitt and pull out the pizza and then cut it and then eat the pizza and then wash the pan/stone.

it's not a lot of work, but it is more work.

and shouldn't pizza places have ovens though?  why doesn't papa murphy's just cook it?

Because the amount of money it cost to run a Papa Murphy's store is significantly less than how much it costs to run a Pizza Hut or Papa John's. That's why they can give you way bigger pizzas with way more toppings than the other places.

If you think the oven at your favorite oven baked pizza provider is safe and healthy to eat out of, you are wrong.

dlew, how do you feel about "mongolian bbq"? its kind of like the reverse of pappa murphs, you have to assemble your food yourself and then they cook it for you.

I think I'm going to open up a store right next to Papa Murphy's with nothing except a bunch of ovens and chairs where I let customers cook the pizzas and charge super low prices for the meals.

I can call it Papa Dlew's Pizzeria: bring your own ingredients!

Pizzarias can charge extremely low prices when they don't have to have ingredients or even a staff of employees.

the ready to bake pizza at costco is great too

but the point here that i want to stress to everyone participating in this discussion is "different strokes for different folks"
marinate on that one guys, i really mean to think about respecting each others here bros because we're starting to be rude and step on toes.  no need to be mean.  a house divided- come on seriously.

this reminds me about the 1Cat campaign i am starting up.

i like to order fajitas because it makes noise when it comes out of the kitchen.  and then everyone looks at it and thinks "damn.  should've ordered fajitas."

then i feel like one lucky bastard.

let's make sure this thread stays on the topic of pizza.

so you're saying you'll assemble a fajita at someone else's table, but refuse to push some buttons on your own oven?
