The tranquilo is 7/7, even with ground beef and panko in the crust

Got one this week and the panko was legit the best part, IMO.

Spent some time in Connecticut on a biz trip. Had to make the drive to New Haven for dinner. I was not disappointed. Go early. They line up outside like it's a night club.

Hey yeah, I'll have to remember that the next time I'm in New Haven

Worst part of living in Arkansas is the lack of good pizza.

Milwaukee Deli
Buffalo State in crossroads
The Combine
both milwaukee deli and the combine resell pizza 51 lol

from downtown i’d recommend pizza tascio, il lazzarone (both of these are owned by the same dude), but tascio is ny style.  caddy shack has pretty good pizza too, but i’d start with a cheese from pizza tascio and go from there.

I mean tascio is nkc. Milwaukee deli (p51) is good recommendation as well as buffalo state both downtown. Caddy shack is entirely too sweet of sauce imo.

KC pizza sucks in reality.

i mean, tascio is literally 3 minutes north of downtown

p51 sucks

I liked it when it was in Fairway, but every time I ate it, I felt like I was going to die the next day. No idea what it was, but every single time it just blew me up. Very weird.

Had to have been. I like everything on my pizza so it had to be the crust recipe. No other pizza has ever done that to me and it was every single time.

My wife has recently been making homemade pizza out of her sourdough and while I want to hate it, it's fantastic.

Which pizza place has the best wings? I vote La Rocca's in Topeka, but also I've never gone out of my way to compare them.

Does your wife mill her own flour?

ben ji's soon to be wife has gone full joco crunchy and is now grounding cat ranch wheat (my dad saved a ton of gallon zip lock bags full of it in his freezer) and using it with her sourdough starter. Tortillas/Croissant Bread/sandwich loaf/artinsal loaf whatrver she has made it all....Except for pizza dough...I will have to tell her to try and make that next.

(Also the croissant bread is the best because its a crap ton of butter in bread and super soft)

She probably would if I hadn't said at some point said why do we need to buy a mill. I was informed by her that the flour you can buy at K-State is inferior to whatever brand she normally gets. I think she said it had quite a bit less protein in it.
