After moving to Denver, there's a little joint down the way called Papou's Pizzeria that is apparently "Voted Best New England (Connecticut) style pizza".  They are probably the best because I've never heard that category before but anyway, tried it and its now my favorite.  They do regular stuff too, but lots of garlic, feta, olive oil type square cut pizzas.

Is being Connecticut or New England style pizza actually a thing?  Anyone heard of any other joints claiming this?

Agree with others, clams belong off pizza and in the mud (which is what they taste like).

i keep getting Sarpino's "coupons" in my mailbox. good?

fun fact- if you drink to the point where you dont remember leaving a bar, sarpinos will deliver a 3/4 eaten pizza to your fridge the next morning for a decent charge on your credit card.

:runaway: omg this happened. literally. 3/4 eaten.

Getting ready to enjoy a delicious half cheese, half supreme from Pizza Hut.  Dining in.  Should be a treat.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

The last time I ate in a pizza hut, when it wasn't lunch (and even that was a long time ago), was probably when I was in grade school, and I absolutely loved it.  Where I lived, there were no restaurants near at all.  A trip to Pizza Hut was a big deal.  Pump a few quarters into Galaga/Mrs. Pac Man, drink half a pitcher of Dr. Pepper and burp like crazy, see if I can eat as many slices as my Dad....awesome times.

Last weekend future Mrs. SB was gone and it was just a bachelor paradise over here. Watched the cats slaughter WVU, then turned on Top Gun and housed an entire Pizza Hut stuffed crust. Didn't even care one bit that it was very mediocre. Just crushed it.

I ate Pizza Hut all the time. My parents would cut the coupon from the paper (weekly in this town, of course).
