Maybe, maybe not. Otzelberger only came on board two months ago. The university prez wants a big, splashy hire. Gregg would be that, but I don't see it happening. Hornacek took his name out of consideration. Still think Brad has a shot. More wins than any coach in history after two years at a NCAA school.

He is responsible for Craig Brackins and Wesley Johnson coming to Iowa State; two guys who could have led that team to great successes with any other coach but Mac. He recruited Monte, Naz and Matt Thomas on this current roster, and has quite a few ties in Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis. He's a recruiter, so getting him isn't a whole lot different than Wayne Morgan in my opinion. Did you guys follow basketball enough 03-06 to know who Wayne Morgan was? He brought in Stinson and Blalock, but literally wouldn't coach as HC. It was streetball.
