I think the hair facing me and the arm under the head keeps me from seeing it the same way sys does. You would have to believe there is some weird malfunction with your browser causing a large black spot on the circle to view it as if he were laughing on his back.

you view it as a lazy emoticon artist didn't bother making the background transparent like in these.  it's just black and only where the head was instead of white and a quadrangle around the emoticon.
