he threw a sandwich at a cop. like, when the royals give up 11 runs in the first 2 inning of a game, I can think of this guy throwing a sandwich at a cop and realize that there is so much to love in this world.

I know it's easy to trash Fitz for being an awful human being, but my word, his alcoholic rage from no longer having a drinking buddy is one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen. It's so textbook "enabler".

So, if D kicked the sandwich after the cop confronted him about throwing it, it must have been on the ground right near the confrontation. And that means he threw it at close range, which makes it seem more likely that he was intentionally trying to hit the cop with it when he threw it - that he didn't just accidentally hit the cop with a sandwich he recklessly heaved into the air.

D Scott's action post-arrest seem indicate he may have a hard time pretending he was just out on the deck sandwich juggling and one got away from him. I think he knows he is caught and is taking the rap. There was probably another cop and/or surveillance cam of the sandwich toss
