a good way to cut back on too much snacking is to not snack.  it's called self-control.  how hungry do you have to be before you build yourself a drawer of snacks at your office?

good God- it's been 2 hours since i housed that triple quarter pounder.  I AM STARVING AND WON'T EAT AGAIN FOR 3 HOURS.  HOW???!!!

I mean yesterday my stomach was literally growling in the afternoon, that's how hungry I was.

i actually just looked and i have zero things in my drawers.  every item i keep at work just lays on my desk (i have one decoration and it's a #BID magnet which is a great conversation piece).

just some computer stuff, a pad of paper, and a couple of loose pens

I have a snack drawer but it doesn't have much in it right now. BUT we also have a snack cabinet (provided by work) and a small refrigerator full of pop plus a full size refrigerator half full of beer and the other half (plus the freezer) is available for me to put perishable snacks in.

I'm a vending machine guy. I know it probably costs me more $ in the long run, but if it's here, i'll eat it.

I don't snack at all at work.  Don't keep anything in my desk other than mints.  Drink water from the time I get to work to the time I leave.  No soda, no coffee.  When I get hungry in the afternoon, I just deal with it.  Eat whatever for lunch and dinner, don't really snack after dinner unless binging and want a salty snack to accompany said binge.

If you exercise and lift on the reg, you should snack throughout the day.

I snack quite a bit too, but I keep it fairly healthy. Dried fruits (pineapple and bananas are my favorites), trail mixes (I try to go without chocolate), nuts (almonds, cashews), or low fat yogurts.

Rake's pro tip from a year or 2 back was to brush your teeth often and instead of snacking.

My snacking is really not that unhealthy usually, but I am snacking very often. Right now the only thing in my snack drawer is this trail mix. (and a can of soup for emergency lunches) But sometimes I bring a microwavable egg roll. And our snack cabinet has pretzels and Doritos. (also Nutter Butters but those are gross)

The snack/lunch drawer is literally the only drawer that has anything in it. Everything else is on the desk, but I have like 25 linear feet of desk space 3 feet deep so it's like hilariously barren too. (#sevenbrag)

Like for instance I eat pretty well and I don't smoke so I gamble A crap TON

There are psychology studies that indicate that humans only have a certain amount of self control. For instance, if you stop smoking you're more likely to eat more, or drink more, etc. Using this logic, the best way to diet is to start smoking.

I agree for the most part but I also know several people that have no vices at all. Maybe hidden vices tho

The worst vices are the ones that you won't even let your friends know about. You might know some serial killers.

Yeah, maybe. I lot of them work out obsessively so maybe that could be considered a vice. There's always something.

Snacking actually isn't bad for you because it speeds up your metabolism. Just make sure it's fruits instead of twinkies

You know what really speeds up my metabolism?  Triple cheeseburgers.  My metabolism is all like, "wow! This is a ton of crap I need to try to convert to energy! *rolls up stomach sleeves*"

I've been working on a way to eat while I'm sleeping so that I can keep my metabolism revved up alllllllll night long.  Maybe some type of slide that just drops Ms. Wacky's healthy chicken pot stew into my open mouth.
