I want to get some cowboy boots, but I've never bought any before.

-Which brands are best?
-What should my budget be?
-Any tips or whatever?
-I have giant feet

-Are they easy to jump around and fist pump in?!?!?!?!

I'm pretty fond of my Ariats. Lots of traction, fit for work and play. They go great with a pair of Carhartts or expensive stylish, bedazzled pocket jeans.

You should probably budget around $500 for ostrich. You can get a nice pair of "regular" , non-exotic boots for $200 or less.

Get one pointy toe pair and one flat front pair. Don't get the chode round front kind. The more western style curly cue designs the better. Make sure they are crafted from some kind of reptile, snake or gator or toad. You should budget one weeks wages, as a rule of thumb. Fyi, most of them come with a coupon for a discount on a "Texas edition" truck. When you go to try them on, make sure you wear your most broken in pair of jeans.

Don't get a pointed toe boot unless you want everyone that sees you to make fun of you. Get a pair of square toed Ariats spend around $200 give or take.
